HELP, DOWNSIZING IS A PAINFUL TASK...

Today, Wendy and Basilio decided (truly we agreed to do this a long time ago) it was a good day to sort through tons of printed photos...does anyone know how painful that was? After 3 hours, we maybe discarded 10 pictures, because it was very difficult to throw away the only imprints of one's connection to the past...most especially if your memory cells are already depleted. You spend hours trying to figure out where, when, and who were in the pictures. ARRRRGGGGGG.....We will never get this done by the end of March...LOL

27 weeks to go but 60 months of things to do...

closer and closer it approaches...though the time is getting closer, the anxiety of being prepared is enormous...but Wendy and I are optimist, so it shall be done...

NEXT PHASE IS COMPLETE...

Yeah, the second part of our retirement planning is in place. The search and purchase of our home on wheels has been completed. We finally found a 15yr old, 34 foot Airstream Classic Limited. Wendy is tickled purple....Our AS compliments our Avalanche to a tee.....
We are approximately 9 months, 14 days into our retirement planning. Next is more downsizing, planning and packing...

April 28, 2010 - today, my wife (Wendy) and I (Basilio) are 365 days away from starting on our dream of seeing and exploring this beautiful country- CANADA. For the last 10 years we dreamt of being free to pursue, wander, explore, enjoy the expanse of our country.
